WTFWiki 2: The "Bloop"

What's cooler than killer robots?  Sea monsters, of course!  If this doesn't make you shit bricks, you better check your pulse.

The "Bloop"

From Wikipedia:
"The Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low frequency and extremely powerful underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown."
"Translation:  IA IA CTHULHU FHTAGN "

Seismic activity?  Aliens?  Great Lord Cthulhu!?  Nobody really knows, it seems, but either way this page kind of creeped me out.  There are pages about similar anomalous signals and and sounds elsewhere on Wikipedia, some of which will be in future posts..  Until then, I've got some Pnakotic Manuscripts to brush up on before our tentacle-faced God arrives!

WTF???
